I rode long ahead with my horse Noria. I was running from Gondor to get away for a while. When Legolas met me he told me all about Lothlorien before he left to go back. It doesn't matter if anyone would be looking for me, my father didn't love his last born who I am but my brothers will come looking for me and take me back to the kingdom of Gondor.

I leap down in front of the girl on her horse, and whip my sword around. "You're tresspassing."

Iellwen walked towards them through the grass with her hood on, hiding her identity. "Tresspassing, is she?" she inquired softly.

"I am not trespassing, I am here to look for a friend." I said.

"You are a human. You have no friends among the Dark Elves. This is your only warning. Leave."

Iellwen watches her. "This is a dark time. What business does a woman have in this place?" she asked in a hoarse voice.

"I am looking for Legolas Greenleaf, I am not just a human." I said.

"Legolas... yes. He passed this way. The day before yesterday. Are you his... companion?" I grin wickedly. Legolas struck me as having odd tastes in women.

Iellwen chuckled. "I wonder," she said out loud. "Amin n'rangwa edanea," she said to him, keeping her eyes on the girl. I don't understand these humans. "Have you seen her before today?" she asked him in elvish.

"No. Definitely new." I respond in kind.

"His companion? No, of course not. I am a friend of him." Dahlia said.

I chuckle. (Note: Words inside these; ~, are in elvish) ~That's what I always tell my companions~ "You may pass, then. But go quickly."

Iellwen eyed the girl suspiciously. ~A friend of him? I have never seen her before, how could he know her and I do not?~ she asked him curiously, watching her closely.

~He's always walking among the Men. Leave her be. I'm sure she's harmless.~

~That is why he is so weak. The company he keeps is a disgrace.~
