Iellwen pursed her lips. ~Of course he is likeable, anybody seems to think he is. Even the dwarves believe him to be kind.~ she said sourly.

~I prefer your sister, Luthien. Such a shame she prefers halflings...~ I shake my head.

~Yes, it is a disappointment that she is lacking in taste.~ Iellwen leered at him. ~Taken a liking into her, have you?~

~I didn't have time, I'm afraid. The halfling was with her when we first met. I would have tried to win her over, but I've heard stories about those halfling trackers. Not worth the trouble.~

Iellwen shook her head. ~It seems that she has taken after her brother. Though I don't know why nobody chooses to listen to me.~ she said bitterly.

Iellwen shifted her weight. ~So you are saying that Luthien and Legolas aren't weak? That they are...wise?~ she scoffed.

~I'm saying that you would be wise to leave them be. Let them make mistakes. Don't try and force them into your way of thinking.~

~Oh, don't think wrong of me. I am not making them change, that is something I have no desire to waste my own time on. But I will do is not help them when they are in need of help.~

~I see. I thought family was the most important thing to any Elf, Light or Dark.~

Iellwen shook her head. ~You misunderstand me, I would do anything for my father. I will not serve fools though.~
